Strong in hanoi

If you’re a woman 35+ living in Hanoi and you’re tired of random workouts, guessing games, or feeling like you’re going at it alone, Strong in Hanoi is your next step. A strength program with a clear plan, expert coaching, and a small group of women who are in the same boat as you. You’ll lift smart, feel confident, and train in a way that actually fits your life.

Feeling a little overwhelmed by all the fitness advice out there?

You've seen the Instagram reels.
You've heard the podcasts.
You’ve read the newsletters telling you what your “future self” must be doing.

“Lift heavy!” “Do short workouts!” “Never do cardio again!” “Jump! Sprint! Balance on a BOSU ball while reciting your grocery list!”
...Seriously, it’s a lot.

Let’s slow it down and just get real for a sec.
Here’s what we do know, and what actually matters as you move through your 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond:

Muscle is your longevity insurance.
It’s what keeps you strong, functional, and independent, so you can carry your suitcase, chase your dog, or hike up that ridiculous hill without needing a nap.

We start losing muscle around age 30.
If you’re not actively strength training, you could lose up to a third of your muscle mass by the time you’re 80. Yep. A third. That’s sarcopenia, and it’s no joke.

Muscle is metabolically active.
More muscle = better blood sugar regulation, a higher resting metabolic rate, and improved hormonal balance. This stuff really matters when you start noticing changes in your energy, body comp, and mood.

Lifting heavy improves cognitive function.
Your brain loves resistance training. It boosts brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which supports memory and learning.

Light weights and high reps won’t cut it forever.
Especially post-40, your bones, tendons, and muscles need load. You need a plan that challenges you enough to make real change, but not so much that you burn out or break.

And this is where most women stop and say...

“Okay, okay. I know I need to lift weights. I know my post-35 body isn’t going to  magically stay strong without it. But, I honestly have no clue where to start. I don’t want to get hurt. I don’t want to feel lost. And I definitely don’t want to waste time doing it wrong.”

And that’s exactly why Strong in Hanoi exists.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’ll walk you through it, step by step, with a clear plan, expert coaching, and a small group of women who are in it with you. You're not too late, too out of shape, or too far behind.

You just need a starting point. This is it. 👇

Let me tell you what Strong in Hanoi actually is.

It’s a small group strength program designed specifically for women 35+ who want to feel strong, capable, and confident in their body, without spending hours in the gym, burning out, or guessing what to do next.

We meet twice a week, in-person, for 6 weeks. We follow a smart, progressive training plan that’s designed to help you build muscle, improve balance and mobility, and train for life.

You’ll be lifting weights (yes, even if you're new to it), moving with intention, and learning how to train in a way that actually supports your energy, joints, hormones, and goals. And you’ll be doing it alongside a group of women who are all in it with you.

And don’t worry, if you’re new to strength training or coming back after a break, we meet you right where you’re at. Everything is scalable, supportive, and coach-led. (That’s me! Hi!)

So in a nutshell, it’s legit coaching, a real plan, and a built-in community.

And What Happens Inside the gym doors...!

Alright, so you’re in. You get that strength training matters. You’re tired of Googling “best exercises for women over 35” and being served a mix of jumping jacks and fear-mongering about menopause.

So let’s get to the good stuff.

Here’s what Strong in Hanoi  looks like:

  • You train 2x a week in a small group of 3–5 women. You’ll see the same faces, follow a clear plan, and, bonus, you might even make a friend!

  • You’ll lift weights with intention. No burpees. No random circuits that leave you wondering what just happened. Every session builds on the last, with a clear goal: strength, confidence, and progress.

  • You’ll learn how to train smarter, not harder. How to hinge, squat, press, and move with power. (Even if your body’s been saying “nope” for a while, we’ll work with it, safely.)

  • You get coached. Like, real-time, hands-on coaching. I’ll help you tweak your form, push when needed, and pull back when needed.

  • You’re not alone. This isn’t a bootcamp. It’s not “sink or sweat.” It’s a space to ask questions, get feedback, and feel supported, especially if your brain is yelling “WTF am I doing here?” on day one.
